We’ve never had this much coffee on
set in our lives! Second Cup as
part of their ambitious new marketing
campaign was seeking to develop a
series of videos that would help educate
people on coffee, all the way from where
it’s sourced to how to best taste the coffee
yourself. The videos were shot in studio
over three days and each featured a
different topic in the world of coffee,
with a final video showing how to slurp
coffee to taste all the awesome flavours.
Every once in awhile we get to go
outside and play. The Highlander
Brewery was looking for a spot that
captured the soul of Northern Ontario.
We created small vignettes of what
makes the outdoors so great and express
Highlander's passion for the North.
It didn't hurt that we loved being
outside as much as them ;)

Mary Browns went for a very different
approach than the typical food based
franchise., and were willing to produce
a spot that not only featured finished
product, but also behind the scenes
footage showcasing the production
of the food items offered in store -
all deliciously made from scratch!
What do warehouses, blood raves, modded cars and abandoned subway stations have in common? This video. Kill V Maim presented a massive variety of filming challenges ranging from shooting in subway stations, creating a blood rave in a warehouse (yes it’s as messy as it sounds), and the visual effects heavy driving scene in studio.
The Molsonmobile was in town and
we just had to shoot a little social spot
with it.
The Mazda CX5 is a pretty sweet SUV,
and the only thing that makes it more
awesome is loading it up with a bunch of
goodies. This video provided a clean simple
overview of some of the cool accessories
Mazda owners could kit their car out with.

Landmark Cinemas as part of an
amazing idea to make their theatre
experience simply the best introduced
the “Catalina Wine Mixer” of reclined
seating and wanted to make sure everyone
knew that. We helped build a simple
reveal spot for their new cinema experience.

This was a lot of fun,! A series of short
videos made for the launch of the new
Samsung T3. The props for this project
were a blast and we deeply enjoyed
playing with toys all week and making
a huge mess. The colours for the project
were set out to be very vibrant and
bright to contrast the very controlled
and traditional locked off framing, allowing
the props to move around wildly throughout
the frame. The entire project was shot with
minimal crew in studio.

them to create a style of video to
speak directly to their customers
and create a platform of useful and
honest information for everybody to enjoy.
A series of videos featuring some
hilarious comedians trying out a
selection of Philips female shaving
products and sharing their opinions
and thoughts as well as legend and
folklore involving their past shaving
(horror) stories to shine an honest
and lighthearted spotlight on what
goes on behind locked bathroom
doors. To ensure we didn’t miss a
second of this candid trial/experiment
we filmed using three camera systems
to allow for the ladies to play off one
another and improvise throughout
the day, in the most natural way.

Being kicked out of our home is
unfathomable for most us, and it’s
particularly tragic when a young person
is kicked out on the street for expressing
their identity. Egale Canada sought to
create awareness to build Canada’s first
LGBTQ shelter and crisis center for
homeless youth. Over the course of two
months, dozens of celebrities and public
figures were brought in to step in front
of the camera to perform, share stories,
and offer their support for the campaign.
It’s a shock to be on the receiving end of
the hateful words delivered in this video,
and it was a taxing process for the actors
to get into the necessary mindset to perform.

to give people an inside look at what
makes them so great at what they do!
Filmed across multiple locations both
on and off shore, the video was shot in
a documentary style, working with
mostly available light and shot handheld
to maintain much needed flexibility in
some of the filming locations.

For father's day this year Philips wanted to remind everyone that despite dads jokes needing some work, he’s still the best and deserves the best, most heartwarming...shave. See what they did there? To get this message across we had a series of little tiny humans tell us their favorite dad jokes, and that even though the jokes aren’t so good, he still is. Colour for the project was to be very much a reflection of Philips brand colours, having a crisp and colourful look. This was filmed in studio with a two camera setup.
Bespoke was looking to create a quick
video to feature their amazing private
dinners they hold on site. What better
way to show a wholesome and hearty,
farm to table dinner, than to hang out in
the kitchen and watch the magic unfold!
Freewrite set out to create the first smart
typewriter and put an end to the very present
distractions on modern computers and bring
back a more tactile typing experience. The
spots for this product set out to showcase
this new approach to productivity, by
featuring it in a few different situations with
different people to show how it could fit into
your life.
Highliner is getting pretty social, as a
result we are helping produce their
content for their social media presence.
We love this stuff, an experiment filming
colour dye reacting in different substances
combined with toying with editing and
sound design to create an eerie, disturbing
atmosphere. The colours were treated very
aggressively to create extremely vibrant hues.

fridge for far too long.
Slate is a small company that bring
previously forgotten items back to life
in new and interesting ways. The concept
was to focus on the steps and work done
to resurrect forgotten items and breathe
new life into them. Filmed primarily static
and with available light on location.
ZUB is a Swiss based company
specializing in motor controllers which
serve to manufacture the motor
controllers that are used later to
manufacture everything from your car
to your not car. The video showcases
some of the many systems and devices
that their product can manage as well as
the sheer number of things the little box
can do at once. Simply stated, it's quite a
little multi tasker. Filmed on location in
Lucerne Switzerland with bellies full of
cheese and chocolate.
A short documentary about a deaf horse
jockey and his journey of being allowed to
attend school to continue his passion, and
his unique relationship with horses which
his disability allowed him to grow. Shot
over the course of a year, footage was shot
primarily here in Ontario with some shot in
Alberta. The colours were given a very
organic and rich look while maintaining
shadow detail. Primarily handheld shooting,
with available light.
